Here’s a short video I found on YouTube about the 180 rule. If you don’t know the term “crossing the line”, this two minute clip will explain it.[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdyyuqmCW14]There are other ways to get away with crossing the line if necessary, but the camera move explained here is the most effective. If you find yourself editing a scene that has an unintentional breaking of the 180 rule, you can always cut away and then back to keep the audience’s heads from spinning. Supercharge Me! 30 Days Raw has been selected by the Central Florida Film Festival. Here’s what “Director, Producer & Ginuea Pig”, Jenna Norwood had to say.
Hooray! Just got word yesterday that “Supercharge Me!” is an official selection of the Central Florida Film Festival! The programming director told me the decision was unanimous. Five out of five judges said they believed the film would be an asset to their festival. I’m very excited to accompany the film to the festival. The two editors of “Supercharge Me!” graduated from Full Sail, the intensive film school in Orlando. so it’ll be nice to be screening the movie near their alma mater. The festival takes place over Labor Day weekend. If you’re in the area, hope you can join us!
